New Dickey's Barbecue in Johnson City Opens This Week

Nation's Largest Barbecue Franchise Expands in Tennessee

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - April 7, 2014 // PRNewswire // - On Thursday, April 10 at 11:00a.m., the new Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Johnson City will kick off a three-day grand opening celebration. The first 50 guests will receive a gift card for up to $50.

"People in Johnson City enjoy slow smoked barbecue as much as I do," said local franchise owner James Neighbors. "We have already seen overwhelming support from the local community and we look forward to a big party to celebrate."

Friday, radio station WXBQ 96.9 will be onsite from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m and this location will be serving $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. Also, one lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card.

Saturday, Dickey's Barbecue will be offering all day merchandise giveaways.

Neighbors grew up in Texas and was in the Technology industry for over 30 years. The new Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Johnson City is located at 1805 West State of Franklin Road and the store phone number is 423-900-1792. This is the 2nd Dickey's Barbecue Pit location in Tennessee.
