Rita's Italian Ice Awards 20 Store Area Franchise for South Orange County

Popular "Ice, Custard, Happiness" Cool Treat Store will be Scooping in Laguna Hills this May, with More Stores Opening Soon in a Neighborhood near You!

April 30, 2014 // Franchising.com // Laguna Hills, CA - Rita's Italian Ice®, the world's largest Italian Ice concept with over 600 stores in 24 states and four countries, has awarded an area franchise agreement for 20 Rita's stores in South Orange County to Howard Joelson and Joseph MacDougall. The team plans to spread Rita's refreshing Italian Ice, Frozen Custard and "Happiness" throughout the South Orange County area. Plans call for two Rita's stores opening soon and several more stores over the next 5 years; beginning with the first Rita's opening in Laguna Hills, at the recently renovated Village at Nellie Gail Ranch in May, and its second store, at Northpark Plaza in Irvine, this June.

The new 1220 square foot Rita's Italian Ice in Laguna Hills will be scooping their famous Ice in May at The Village at Nellie Gail Ranch, 26538 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. They will employ 25 "Treat Team" members from the local community.
