Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Second Chapel Hill Location

Owners Celebrate with Free Sub Fundraiser

May 02, 2014 // Franchising.com // Chapel Hill, NC - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in North Chapel Hill on April 30. Franchise owners Charlie Farris and Clint Winslow, along with managers Brendan Turk and Brad Kampa, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, April 30 to Sunday, May 4 to support Chapel Hill High School and East Chapel Hill High School.

The new restaurant, located at 1802 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in the Chapel Hill North Center, circulated 8,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Chapel Hill High School or East Chapel Hill High School.

"Opening another location in Chapel Hill gives us the opportunity to better serve our customers," said Farris. "Our goal is to not only provide top notch service in the traditional sense, but also to serve our customers by giving back to the community. We believe partnering with our local high schools is the best way to make a positive impact in Chapel Hill. Public schools continue to be underfunded and we want to help close that gap so that school can continue to be a positive place for our youth."
