Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Twenty Fifth San Diego Area Location

Restaurant Celebrates with Free Sub Fundraiser

April 30, 2014 - San Diego, CA - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in San Diego on April 30. Franchise owner Fred Downey along with operating partner Kimya Yamini held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, April 30 to Sunday, May 4 to support Valley Center Youth Soccer.

The new restaurant, located at 5657 Balboa Avenue, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Valley Center Youth Soccer.

"There are so many children in the community who love to play soccer, but simply cannot afford to join a team," said Downey. "As a volunteer coach with Valley Center Youth Soccer, I know how important outside donations are for many players and their families. Through our grand opening fundraiser we hope to give at least 15 children the opportunity to participate this year."
