Local Entrepreneur to Open Conroe's First Russo's New York Pizzeria

Houston-Area Restaurateur Signs Agreement to Open Second Russo's

May 08, 2014 // Franchising.com // CONROE, Texas – "Mangiamo! Let's eat." - The phrase heard around the world in Italian family kitchens will soon be said daily in Conroe as Russo's New York Pizzeria readies itself to serve authentically Italian meals for lunch and dinner.

Local resident Guillermo Medellin, an experienced food service professional and current owner of Russo's New York Pizzeria in The Woodlands, has inked an agreement with Russo's Restaurants to open his second location in the North Houston area. The well-known, Houston-based Italian restaurant that brings to life old world charm and hospitality will open in June 2014 at 3915 W. Davis St. in Suite 180. It will be situated by the intersection of SH 336 and West Davis Street near the HEB.

Medellin has owned his Russo's New York Pizzeria in The Woodlands since 2009.

"There is no denying the demand for quality Italian dining options here in Conroe. As the city grows, our community seeks newer, fresher concepts that are fun for the whole family," said Medellin. "I can't wait for families in our community to experience the family-friendly atmosphere as well our signature recipes."

Russo's New York Pizzeria has garnered a cult-like following for its truly authentic and delicious Italian dishes made from the freshest ingredients and its New York-style pizza. The restaurant blends the freshness of fine ingredients with the magic created around a homemade Italian meal.
