Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Eighth Orlando Location

Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraisers

June 24, 2014 // Franchising.com // Orlando, FL - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Orlando on June 11. Franchise owners Raul and Lisa Ceide, along with manager Scott Green, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, June 11 to Sunday, June 22 to support the South Orlando Soccer Club.

The new restaurant, located at 6607 S. Semoran Boulevard, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the South Orlando Soccer Club.

"When our daughter was young, Raul and I spent many years involved in youth soccer volunteering at the Club, Team, and State level", said Lisa Ceide. "It was during this time that we realized how many families needed financial assistance in order for their children to be able to play. Today, about 30 percent of athletes in the South Orlando Soccer Club are funded through scholarships from outside donors. By partnering with the league for our grand opening fundraiser, we hope to give more children the opportunity to participate."

Ceide added, "The last three years were a huge growth period for Jersey Mike's, especially in the Metro Orlando area. With this new location, we have the opportunity to bring the brand and product to an underserved part of our community."
