Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Fifth Sarasota-Bradenton Area Location

Owner Celebrates With Free Sub Fundraiser

June 23, 2014 - Sarasota, FL - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Sarasota on June 18. Franchise owner Beth Kariofyllis along with her son and operating partner Matthew Kariofyllis held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, June 18 to Sunday, June 29 to support Sarasota Memorial Hospital Foundation.

The new restaurant, located at Bahia Vista Street and U.S. 41, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Sarasota Memorial Hospital Foundation.

“This new location is just incredible,” said Beth. “We are fortunate to be positioned in a bustling part of town and we're lucky to have so much support from fellow neighborhood businesses, our landlords – the Saba family, and the home office team at Jersey Mike's.”

Beth added, “The shop is so beautiful and features a patio that resembles the iconic boardwalks of the Jersey Shore. In addition to serving up our authentic sub sandwich experience and atmosphere, we're also committed to giving back to the community. By teaming up with the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Foundation, we can support local families through the incredible efforts of the Hospital.
