Grand Opening For New Goddard School In Virginia Beach, Va

The Goddard School Holds Grand Opening Celebration on July 19

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. - July 7, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Goddard Systems, Inc. (GSI), the franchisor of The Goddard School® preschool system, announced today its newest school is opening in the Lynnhaven area of Virginia Beach, Va. Located at 2572 Virginia Beach Blvd., the new school is owned by franchisee family Anne Pope and her husband Mike, along with her parents, Don and Melissa O'Brian. In honor of the school, the community is invited to a grand opening celebration on Saturday, July 19. A ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Will Sessoms will be held later in the month.

The Goddard School located in Lynnhaven (Virginia Beach) will be celebrating with two different special events. On Saturday, July 19 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., the school will celebrate its grand opening with activities for the whole family to enjoy including outdoor games, pony rides and a DJ on the playground. A ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Will Sessoms will be held on July 30 at 12:30 p.m.

In addition to the new school in Lynnhaven, Anne and Mike Pope, along with Anne's parents Don and Melissa O'Brian, also own The Goddard School located in Chesapeake, which opened its doors in March 2005. The family is personally familiar with the brand's mission not only since they're already owners, but because Anne and Mike's youngest child attended and graduated from The Goddard School located in Chesapeake. Don will run business and financial matters while Anne will handle day-to-day operations on-site.
