Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Fifth Virginia Beach Location

Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

July 23, 2014 // Franchising.com // Virginia Beach, VA - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Virginia Beach on July 16. Franchise owners Martin Anderson and Clark Stallings, along with restaurant operator Daniel Hoggard, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 20 to support Young Life.

The new restaurant, located at 1909 Landstown Centre Way, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Young Life.

"I've had the opportunity to be a part of the Jersey Mike's brand for nearly four years now," said Hoggard. "Growing along with the company and overseeing several shops has been a great experience and I'm looking forward to this new location in Virginia Beach."

Hoggard added, "Once again we're partnering with Young Life as our charitable recipient for the grand opening fundraiser. Young Life is an organization that works with high school students to spread Christian values and encourages positive and healthy lifestyles. In addition to working with Young Life as a community partner, we've had the chance to hire and work with many Young Life teens. We're grateful to have such a strong relationship with Young Life, and as always, we look forward to supporting this great cause."
