Rita's Italian Ice Introduces Jelly Belly® Bean Branded Italian Ice Flavors

NEW Jelly Belly® Berry Blue and Tutti-Fruitti Flavors Join Italian Ice Line up for a Limited Time.

Fans can enter Rita's "Name the Jelly Belly® Recipe" Contest by Tasting both Flavors Together!

August 04, 2014 // Franchising.com // TREVOSE, Pa. - Rita's Italian Ice, the world's largest Italian Ice concept with over 600 stores, announced the debut of two new Italian Ice flavors which are a co-branded collaboration with Jelly Belly Candy Company, the popular gourmet confectionery company. These new Italian Ice flavors are inspired by the Jelly Belly® jelly bean flavors of Berry Blue and Tutti-Fruitti, and are available at all Rita's locations beginning today through Sunday, August 24th, 2014. Guests are encouraged to try the new flavors together and enter Rita's "Name the Jelly Belly® Recipe" contest for a chance to win a Rita's and Jelly Belly jelly bean prize pack!

The Jelly Belly brand is known for recipes that mix and match different Jelly Belly® jelly beans to create new, unique flavors. Until now, Jelly Belly Berry Blue and Tutti-Fruitti flavors haven't been officially mixed together. But starting today Rita's guests can not only mix them together, they can name their delicious new concoction. To enter the contest, Rita's fans are encouraged to submit photos of themselves with their Jelly Belly Italian Ice treats and recipe names via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #ritasjellybellyrecipe for a chance to win.

"It's amazing how our two new Jelly Belly Italian Ice flavors taste just like the popular Jelly Belly beans," said Jeff Moody, Chief Executive Officer, Rita's.
