Jersey Mike's Opens First Lubbock Location

Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

August 14, 2014 - Lubbock, TX - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Lubbock on August 13. Franchise owner Brian Kelley of Paradigm Investment Group, along with Greg Hazard, co-owner and chief operations officer for Paradigm, and Johnny Cutter, director of operations, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, August 13 to Sunday, August 17 to support the BraveCort Foundation.

The new restaurant, located at 6319 82nd Street, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the Bravecort Foundation.

The BraveCort Foundation was founded by Brian and Andrea Kelley in memory of their son Cort. BraveCort focuses its efforts on research in the field of childhood cancer.

"We welcome the opportunity to support BraveCort and its commitment to funding research in the fight against childhood cancer," said Hazard. "Jersey Mike's is a unique brand in that we have a culture of providing an exceptional product and of giving back to our customers and community. In other words, we're not just in it to make a buck but to make a true difference. Without even being officially open, we feel as though the community has already embraced us with open arms.
