September 02, 2014 // Franchising.com // Detroit, Mich. - Goldfish Swim School will celebrate the opening of its 15th location with the opening of a Burr Ridge, Ill. facility on Sept. 3, 2014.
The milestone comes after Goldfish’s recent openings in three regions: Chicago, Columbus and Detroit. Goldfish is also bolstering its aggressive growth through planned schools in new markets, including Pittsburgh, Boston and Washington D.C. In addition, the franchise is planning a second Indianapolis metro area school, a 6th Detroit area location and several new Chicago area facilities.

Goldfish Swim School was founded in by the husband-wife team of Chris and Jenny McCuiston in 2006 in Birmingham, Mich. Since then, Goldfish, its franchisees and their teams of highly trained instructors have helped thousands of children learn to swim while being safe in and around water.
