Del Taco Continues Expansion Throughout the Southeast

Exclusive Development Territories Available for Franchisees

September 23, 2014 // Franchising.com // Lake Forest, California – Del Taco, a leader in the Mexican quick service restaurant category, today announced commitments for 28 new locations to open throughout the Southeast. This latest expansion is part of the company's larger strategy to bring its fresh, made-to-order Mexican and American food to guests across the country. Along with recently-opened restaurants in Columbus and Smyrna, Georgia, Del Taco will soon open its sixth Atlanta-area location in Marietta, Georgia, along with a franchise owned restaurant, in Columbia, South Carolina.

Leading the company's Southeast expansion is franchisee Clay Gullatt, who has an agreement to open three locations. Gullatt's first Del Taco, located in Columbus, Georgia, opened with record sales this past August.
