Jersey Mike's Subs Opens in Ocala
Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

Franchise owners Barry and Marlene Kovelesky, along with manager Megan Stankiewicz, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, October 8 to Sunday, October 19 to support Michelle-O-Gram in partnership with Ocala Health.
The new restaurant, located at 2602 SW 19th Ave., circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Michelle-O-Gram.
"After trying Jersey Mike's for the first time we loved the product and wanted to get involved with the brand," said Marlene Kovelesky. "Barry is originally from New Jersey so he had an instant connection with the company culture and the authentic sub sandwich."
Mrs. Kovelesky added, "Opening our doors here in Ocala is an opportunity to give back to our community through a 5-day grand opening fundraiser. All the money we raise will support Michelle-O-Gram and their mission to provide free mammograms for women who can't afford to be screened. Every October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are reminded of the impact this disease has on many women and their families. By teaming up with Michelle-O-Gram we hope to help more women get the exams they need."
