Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Location Bend
Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser
October 22, 2014 - Bend, OR - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Bend on October 8. Franchise owners Robert Messih and James McGaha held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, October 8 to Sunday, October 12 to support Summit High School.
The new restaurant, located at 143 SW Century Drive, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Summit High School.
"We're very excited to bring the Jersey Mike's brand to Bend," said Messih. "It feels great to not only introduce our fantastic product, but also make a difference in the community where I live. My son currently attends Summit High School, which makes this a very special fundraising opportunity. The money we raise during our grand opening will go toward funding athletic programs that are so vital to many young athletes. This is a beautiful community to call home and truly a great fit for Jersey Mike's."
