October 30, 2014 // Franchising.com // Mayfield Village, OH - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Mayfield Village on October 22. Franchise owners Mike and Renee Salem, along with managers Lauren Minotas and Dan Rein, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, October 22 to Sunday, October 26 to support Mayfield City Schools.
The new restaurant, located at 6681 Wilson Mills Road, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Mayfield City Schools.
"I joined Jersey Mike's 15 years ago because I knew this was the best product on the market," said Mike Salem. "The great thing about this brand is that we've never compromised on quality and we still serve that same top-notch product. Opening the first location in the Cleveland market in 1999, I've had the unique opportunity to watch the brand grow nationwide and the Jersey Mike's culture still remains intact."
Salem added, "We're excited to open our doors in Mayfield Village and support our local schools through a five-day fundraiser. We feel it's important to give back to the community and show our appreciation for our customers."
