January 16, 2015 // Franchising.com // Greenfield, WI - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Greenfield on January 14. Franchise owners David Deason and Bill Everett held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 14 to Sunday, January 18 to support Wedgewood Park International School, Edgewood Elementary School, and Greenfield High School.
The new restaurant, located at 7925 W Layton Ave., circulated 15,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Wedgewood Park International School, Edgewood Elementary School, or Greenfield High School.
"Greenfield is a very tight-knit and involved community," said Everett. "The people here are very friendly and welcoming and we're excited to introduce the Jersey Mike's brand. For the first five days we are open, our new location is fundraising for our local schools. We feel the best way to make a difference for our customers is to give back to the community where we do business. We are hopeful that our support will help enhance student programs and activities for students at all levels."
