Express Employment Professionals Earns Spot on Franchise 500 List for Eighth Year In a Row

To be selected, franchises are ranked based on financial strength and ability, growth rate and the number of years a company has been in business. In 2014, Express opened 82 new franchise locations, bringing its total to 725 offices across the U.S., Canada and South Africa.

OKLAHOMA CITY (PRWEB) February 05, 2015 - Express Employment Professionals has been ranked as the No. 1 U.S. franchised staffing company for the third year in a row by Entrepreneur Magazine, and also ranked number 66 on the publication's Franchise 500 list, up from number 71 in 2014.

"It's a great accomplishment and honor to be ranked again on the Franchise 500 List," said Bob Funk, CEO of Express Employment Professionals and former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board in Kansas City. "Our numbers have improved over last year, and it's a direct result of the diligent and dedicated work by our franchisees and international headquarters team."

This is the eighth year in a row that Express has been on the Franchise 500 list. To be selected, franchises are ranked based on financial strength and ability, growth rate and the number of years a company has been in business.

"There are many successful franchises representing a wide range of industries on the Franchise 500 list, and Express is proud to be in their company representing the staffing industry," Funk said.

Additionally in 2014, Express earned a spot on the Fastest Growing Franchise Systems list for the fifth year in a row, ranking No. 56. The rankings were based on the number of new franchise units added in the U.S. and Canada between July 2012 and July 2013.

In 2014, Express opened 82 new franchise locations, bringing its total to 725 offices across the U.S., Canada and South Africa.

Express plans to expand in 2015 with 75 new franchises in high growth areas, including New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Toronto.

"We're looking to the future and how we can help even more people," Funk said. "It's our long-term goal to put a million people to work annually, to help them achieve their dreams and meet their needs."
