February 06, 2015 // Franchising.com // Chula Vista, CA - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in the Eastlake Community of Chula Vista on January 21. Franchise owners Alan Jehamy, Raul Esses, Ilan Wornovitzky, and Marc Wornovitzky held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 21 to Sunday, January 25 to support the Eastlake Educational Foundation.
The new restaurant, located at 2315 Otay Lakes Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the Eastlake Educational Foundation.
"Jersey Mike's has been very well received by the Chula Vista community and we're excited to open our second location here," said Jehamy. "It's really nice to see the friendly neighborhood atmosphere that has developed between our staff and customers and we look forward to creating the same environment in this new location."
Jehamy added, "Once again we are raising funds to benefit the Eastlake Educational Foundation. Our goal is to support our students by funding important school programs and activities."
