Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Second Pensacola Location

Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

February 10, 2015 // Franchising.com // Pensacola, FL - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Pensacola on February 4. Franchise owners Shell and Carol Lawhorn held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, February 4 to Sunday, February 15 to support Escambia Westgate School and Beulah Elementary School.

The new restaurant, located at 2150 West Nine Mike Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Escambia Westgate School or Beulah Elementary School.

"Jersey Mike's feature on the Food Network program, 'Giving You The Business', gave us new insight into the philosophy of the brand," said Shell Lawhorn. "Jersey Mike's founder and CEO, Peter Cancro, has built a business that not only serves a quality product, but also has great values and community ties. We're excited to be opening our first Jersey Mike's here in Pensacola and support two local schools during the grand opening fundraiser."
