Perkins & Marie Callender's, LLC ® Recognizes Colin Kinsman Of Ottawa, Canada As Franchisee Of The Year

Business Partner of the Year, and Give Kids The World Contributor Also Recognized

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - March 3, 2015 // PRNewswire // - Perkins & Marie Callender's, LLC ® announced that Mr. Colin Kinsman is the recipient of the prestigious Perkins Restaurant & Bakery Franchisee of the Year Award. Honored during the company's annual conference held in Minnesota, an event which brings together employees, franchisees and vendors from around the country and Canada, Mr. Kinsman was recognized for excellence in operational performance, adherence to the highest quality standards and an outstanding commitment to providing exemplary guest service.

Kinsman has been a Perkins franchisee since 1996, when he opened his restaurant in Ottawa, Canada. Today, with a staff of more than 90, Kinsman is an influential figure both amongst his employees and the local community. During the annual conference, Rotella Bakery, a vendor that has worked with the company for 30 years, was named Perkins Business Partner of the Year, and Mr. Dave Hanson, Owner/JLC Foodsystems, Inc. was honored for his long-standing involvement and contributions to Give Kids The World, a non-profit organization that the company has supported for two decades.

Founded in 1958, Perkins operates 407 restaurants in 33 states and five Canadian provinces. The Perkins system includes 131 company-owned and operated restaurants and 276 franchised units. Perkins growth strategy includes further franchise development.
