The brand recently won not only a Platinum award but Best in Show, the highest honor, at the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) 58th annual Adrian Awards at the New York Marriott Marquis. Red Roof’s Digital Marketing campaign, Turning Flight Cancellations into Hotel Reservations – developed by agency 360i - wowed the judges and their lodging competitors, bringing them the coveted award. The Adrian Awards began in 1957 and consider entries from every segment of the travel and hospitality marketing industry, including hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, destinations and credit card companies, among others. Winners are selected from a field of more than 1,200 entries by senior industry and media experts.
In addition, Red Roof was the recipient of the DAN (Dentsu Aegis Network) innovation Gold Award for Best Use of Data for the Digital Marketing campaign, Turning Flight Cancellations into Hotel Reservations.
