Jersey Mike's Opens First Mint Hill Location

Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

April 09, 2015 // Franchising.com // Mint Hill, NC - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Mint Hill on March 25. Franchise owners Nick Smith and Rodger Blake-Ward held a grand opening fundraiser from Wednesday, March 25 to Tuesday, March 31 to support Bain Elementary School, Queens Grant High School, Queens Grant Community School, Butler High School, Mint Hill Middle School, Rocky River High School, Independence High School, Northeast Middle School and Lebanon Road Elementary School.

The new restaurant, located at 7028 Brighton Park Dr., circulated thousands of flyers throughout the community each containing various offers. For each offer redeemed, Jersey Mike’s will make a $3 donation to Bain Elementary School, Queens Grant High School, Queens Grant Community School, Butler High School, Mint Hill Middle School, Rocky River High School, Independence High School, Northeast Middle School or Lebanon Road Elementary School.

“Rodger and I are excited for the opportunity to support several different schools within the Mint Hill community,” said Smith. “Supporting our local schools for our grand opening fundraiser is an opportunity to raise money for student programs and invite customers to experience the Jersey Mike’s culture of giving.”
