Jersey Mike's Opens Second Minneapolis Location
Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser
April 10, 2015 // Franchising.com // Dinky Town, MN - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Dinky Town on March 31. Franchise owner Bart Crockett, director of operations David Miller, and general manager Neil Starks held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Tuesday, March 31 to Sunday, April 5 to support the University of Minnesota Foundation and the Masonic Children’s Hospital.
The new restaurant, located at 509 14th Avenue SE, circulated 8,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to the University of Minnesota Foundation and Masonic Children’s Hospital.
“All it took was one #7 Mike’s Way to get me hooked on opening my own Jersey Mike’s location,” said Crockett. “Everything about this restaurant concept, from the awesome sub, to the authentic menu, and the exceptional customer experience appealed to me as a business owner and further solidified my decision. I am grateful to be a part of the Jersey Mike’s family and for this opportunity to help the brand grow in the Twin Cities.”
Crockett added, “For our location in Dinky Town, we decided to team up with the University of Minnesota Foundation and Masonic Children’s Hospital to raise funds for the first six days that we are open and make a difference for our community. We hope to continue supporting local organizations and schools throughout the years so that we can make a meaningful impact for our customers.”
