The group has signed a development agreement to open 18 stores throughout Northern California, a region previously unoccupied by the brand.
Elite Sports Bar Group, LLC is led by President and CEO Phil Costner. As an industry veteran, Costner has served as SVP of Food, Beverage and Retail at Universal Studios Hollywood, VP of Research and Development for Carlson Restaurants, President and COO of La Madeleine, and President of Mimi’s Café.
Other key members of the Elite management and development team include Sandy Mann and CJ Dhaliwal. Mann and Dhaliwal currently operate 20 Popeye’s locations, one DQ Grill and Chill, and a recently opened Arco AM/PM, with two Arco AM/PM properties in development. Also joining are investors Jonathan Boutelle and Samit Ranjan.
