Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip Begins Baking with Love at Westfield South Shore

Bakery café is first on Long Island; doors opened yesterday.

April 27, 2015 // Franchising.com // BAY SHORE, NY – It’s a childhood staple that’s as American as apple pie, and its mouthwatering aroma has an uncanny way of triggering memories instilled by generations of mothers and grandmothers who know what it means to bake with love.

Fortunately, children of all ages can now relive their warm memories of chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven at the Westfield South Shore shopping mall in Bay Shore, thanks to the arrival of a new Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip. The popular bakery café chain opened there on Sunday, April 26.

Franchisee Bill Ozler has been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to serve up smiles to bustling shoppers with the café's freshly baked treats, delicious specialty coffees and savory meal offerings.

"We want the shoppers here to see us as a place to escape from the hustle and bustle, and relax with an indulgent treat and a cup of fresh, premium coffee," said Ozler. "After all, it's hard to beat a Nestle Toll House cookie fresh out of the oven, along with a delicious Milano coffee."

The premium dessert destination concept is built around the world's most powerful food brand – Nestlé. Along with its universally loved Nestlé Toll House cookies and cookie cakes, the new café serves brownies, muffins, smoothies, Nescafé® Milano coffee and ice creams. Guests are able to customize their dessert by adding fresh fruit and toppings. The café is also a great lunch option, thanks to its made-to-order crepes and Panini sandwiches.

The Westfield South Shore café, located at 1701 Sunrise Highway, Food Court 10, in Bay Shore, is the second Nestlé Toll House Café in New York and the 146th system-wide.
