Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

May 05, 2015 // Franchising.com // Greenwood, SC - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Greenwood on April 29. Franchise owners Dave Bockstahler and John Whitmire held a grand opening fundraiser from Wednesday, April 29 to Sunday, May 3 to support the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.

The new restaurant, located at Greenwood Promenade in front of Publix at 481 Bypass 72 Northwest circulated thousands of coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.

“We are excited to bring the Jersey Mike brand to the Greenwood community,” said Bockstahler. “It is especially gratifying to be able to be partner with the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home. We are fortunate to be able support such a unique Children’s Home while sharing our authentic subs with the local community!”

During that timeframe, Bockstahler and Whitmire are also supporting the following local schools: Greenwood High School, Emerald High School, Cambridge Academy, Lakeview Elementary School, Northside Middle School and Westview Middle School. Thousands of flyers with various offers are being distributed to the local schools.

Additionally, the new owners will hold a second fundraiser from Wednesday, May 6 to Sunday, May 10 to support Brewer Middle School, Springfield Elementary School, Pinecrest Elementary School, Merrywood Elementary School, Greenwood Christian School and Palmetto Christian Academy of Greenwood. Again, customers must have a coupon to be eligible.
