June 02, 2015 // Franchising.com // Dover, DE - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Dover tomorrow. Franchise owner Brad Mouly held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, May 27 to Sunday, May 31 to support Autism Delaware.
The new restaurant, located at 1211 North DuPont Hwy., circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Autism Delaware.
“I am very excited to introduce the Jersey Mike’s brand to the greater Dover community,” said Mouly. “I chose to partner with Autism Delaware for my grand opening fundraiser because I am looking to build my relationship with an organization that not only services Dover, but the entire state of Delaware. As I continue to grow the Jersey Mike’s brand in Delaware and Maryland, building a strong relationship with a charity partner is very important to me.”
Autism Delaware works hard to raise public awareness of autism and provides the following services: parent mentoring and support, information and referrals, family and teen social opportunities, adult services and financial assistance for parents and educators to advance their skills and knowledge of autism.
