Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Maricopa Location

Owners Celebrate with Free Sub Fundraiser

June 02, 2015 // Franchising.com // Maricopa, CA - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Maricopa on May 27. Franchise operators Alicia Rosenfield and Duane Layton held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 27 to Sunday, March 31 to support nine schools in the Maricopa Unified School District.

The new restaurant, located at 21423 N. John Wayne Pkwy., circulated thousands of flyers throughout the community offering various offers. For each offer redeemed, Jersey Mike’s will make a $2 donation to the participating schools from May 27 to May 31.

“At Jersey Mike’s we are committed to making a difference in the community,” said Layton. “The five day grand opening fundraiser gives us a perfect opportunity to give back to the local schools. Everyone here has been so welcoming to us and we are excited to build and grow alongside such a great community.”
