Edible Arrangements International Names Tony DiPippa New CFO

Experience includes leadership roles in finance with Procter & Gamble, Dun & Bradstreet and Godiva Chocolatier

June 19, 2015 // Franchising.com // WALLINGFORD, Conn. - Edible Arrangements International today announced that Tony DiPippa has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the global leader in shops offering creatively designed fresh cut fruit arrangements and treats.

DiPippa replaces former CFO George Wilson, who moves over to support Edible Arrangements founder and CEO Tariq Farid in the expansion of Edible Brands and his other ventures, including Netsolace, Broadpeak and Naranga.

“George played a critical role in helping me grow Edible Arrangements into an industry leader, and will now play a similar role in the growth of our early-stage businesses,” Farid said. “And Tony is the perfect choice as Edible Arrangements enters its next phase.”

As CFO, DiPippa joins Edible Arrangements as it prepares to significantly grow the brand’s global presence over the next decade. The company generated over $500 million in systemwide sales in 2014 and operates more than 1,200 stores worldwide.

“Tony brings us a deep and diverse level of experience and expertise needed as we embark on a new era of significant expansion worldwide,” said Edible Arrangements President Robert Price.

DiPippa’s career includes a range of financial roles at Procter & Gamble followed by leadership positions in finance at Dun & Bradstreet. He also has served as VP of North American Finance for Godiva Chocolatier, playing a major role in the successful sale of the company, and was CFO at WB Mason, during a time in which the privately-held office products company grew to $1.2 billion in sales. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer for mall-based retailer, Cache.

DiPippa, who served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, holds a BA degree with a double major in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Nebraska.
