Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser For Bob Hope USO

Business District, adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), on June 24. Franchise owners Arthur Maidman and Garen Khodaverdian, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, June 24 to Sunday, June 28 to support Bob Hope USO.

The new restaurant, located at 5933 W. Century Blvd., is within walking distance of LAX, just down the LAX/Century Boulevard corridor. The new beautifully patioed eating center is part of LAX Center and lies at the bottom of the district’s newest state of the art high-rise hotel gem -- the Marriott Residence Inn. The hotel and airport plaza provide plenty of free parking for easy-in, easy-out service.

South Bay Los Angeles franchisees, Artie Maidman and Garen Khodaverdian, are happy to have placed the new location at the Gateway to L.A. so they can serve the LAX business district community, travelers, and airport employees.

For the location’s grand opening, Maidman and Khodaverdian circulated 5,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Bob Hope USO.

The Bob Hope USO provides a safe haven for military travelers and their families when traveling through LAX. The Bob Hope USO at LAX is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and is funded by local Southern California business partners and run by the more than 250 volunteers who dedicate their time.
