Wayback Burgers Continues Record Growth In Second Quarter

July 16, 2015 // Franchising.com // Cheshire, CT - Wayback Burgers, a better burger fast casual chain based out of Cheshire CT, continues its strong 2015 growth with a strong second quarter performance both in international and domestic development.

Bill Chemero, EVP, who also heads up international development recently signed two more master franchise agreements, bringing Wayback Burgers international presence to 31 countries. The first master franchise agreement is in Pakistan. The master franchisee has years of restaurant experience in several different brands and will develop 20 restaurants in Pakistan. The second master franchise agreement is in the country of Brunei where Wayback Burgers has changed its menu to offer 100% halal certified foods. The master franchisee brings many years of experience working for several major restaurant brands and now is very excited to call Wayback Burgers his own.

On the domestic side, Wayback Burgers continues its strong growth. In the second quarter, Wayback Burgers has signed agreements for 40 more new stores, bringing this year’s total to over 100 new stores sold. Scott Milas, Director of Franchise Sales, who heads up US Development, has inked single and multi-unit franchise agreements for South Carolina, Texas, Florida, Massachusetts and California. For non-traditional development, Wayback Burgers has signed new agreements for the Groton Submarine Naval base in CT and the 1st of many more to come Walmart locations in Wylie and Killeen, TX.
