Franchise owners Katharine Brown and Dallas Brown, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, July 15 to Sunday, July 19 to support Springland Wood Ministries, Children’s Safe Harbor and College Park High School Band.
The new restaurant, located at 3091 College Park Drive, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Springland Wood Ministries, Children’s Safe Harbor and College Park High School Band.
“Our family has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years and Jersey Mike’s is a great next step for us,” said Katharine Brown. “When my youngest son and now business partner, Dallas, graduated from Texas A & M, we immediately knew this was the right time to start a new family business.
“Our decision to franchise with Jersey Mike’s was all about two things: the food and the culture of giving. We absolutely love the product and we love that Jersey Mike’s is such a community oriented organization. For our grand opening we will be holding a five day fundraiser to support the Springland Wood Ministries, Children’s Safe Harbor and College Park High School Band. We are hopeful that through the money we raise we will be able to give back to community.”
