Owners Celebrate With Free Sub Fundraiser

August 04, 2015 // Franchising.com // Fort Wayne, IN - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Fort Wayne on July 29. Franchise owners Lee Pines and Peter Lieffring, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, July 29 to Sunday, August 2 to support Northcrest Elementary, Northwood Middle School and North Side High School.

The new restaurant, located at 801 Northcrest Shopping Center, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Northcrest Elementary, Northwood Middle School and North Side High School.

“As we gear up to open our third location in Fort Wayne, we are reminded of how fortunate we are to be a part of the Jersey Mike’s brand,” said Pines. “It’s our tradition at Jersey Mike’s to host a fundraiser for our community as part of the grand opening fundraiser. This time around, we’ve teamed up with the local schools. It feels great to give back to members of our community and to know that all money we raise will stay local.”
