Huddle House Serves Up More Texas Expansion

Two new Huddle House restaurants to bring “Any Meal. Any Time.”to McAllen area.

August 11, 2015 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – Just like the late Texas summer, Huddle House expansion continues to heat up with the signing of a franchise agreement for two new locations in the McAllen, Texas, area.

South Texas residents will soon be able to enjoy “Any Meal. Any Time.” when McAllen CPA Charles Justis opens the region’s first Huddle House restaurantearly next year and a second location in late 2016. Justis said he looks forward to making the transition from crunching numbers to serving up Southern-inspired comfort food as a Huddle House franchisee.

“The idea of a casual dining experience with a value-priced menu and great food that attracts all ages and all demographics is what drew me to the opportunity to open two Huddle House locations in the McAllen area,” Justis said. “Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch meetings or late night gatherings, I’m confident our locations will quickly become popular gathering places for our community that truly wants ‘Any meal. The new South Texas Huddle House restaurants will be freestanding locations that reflect the 51-year-old chain’s dynamic new look and branding. Justis said the new restaurants will seat up to approximately 100 guests and both locations will be open 24-hours.

“What makes opening my Huddle House franchises even more special is that it also happens to be in the city where I’ve already run a successful CPA business and can now continue that small business success into a new and proven concept like Huddle House,” he added.

Typically open 24-hours, Huddle House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day, featuring its signature Big House breakfasts, crispy hash browns, creamy grits, golden waffles and fluffy omelets, all made to order. Huddle House now has more than 400 restaurants open or under development nationwide and is on track to open more than 100 new restaurants over the next three years.
