Fast-Growing Salata Opens First Cypress Location

Restaurant to feature company’s new prototype design.

August 19, 2015 // Franchising.com // To celebrate the grand opening of its first Cypress location and 49th restaurant nationwide, Salata, named one of the fastest growing chains in the U.S., will give away a free salad or salad wrap and signature drink to the first 49 guests in line on Thursday, Aug. 20.

Located at Cyfair Town Center, the Cypress Salata is locally owned and operated by Salata franchisees Kyle Schomburg and David Nimberger, who also own the Tomball location.

Salata’s Cypress location will feature the brand’s new restaurant design, first unveiled in Pearland last month. With natural building materials, the design delivers a more vibrant and modern atmosphere, aligned with the chain’s mission to offer fresh, healthy and pure menu offerings.

“Cypress is flourishing and we’re proud to be a part of that growth,” said Schomburg. “We invite our new Cypress neighbors to join us on opening day and experience the restaurant’s fresh, new design as well as its delicious and healthy menu.”

To complement Salata’s salads and wraps made with more than 50 fresh, healthy ingredients, the Cypress location will feature a new, state-of-the-art beverage station that offers fresh iced tea and lemonade through a system much like a beer tap. The new taps will feature Salata’s signature teas and lemonades including the popular tropical green tea and raspberry lemonade.

The 3,000-square-foot restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information and a list of restaurants, please visit www.salata.com.
