Three-Day Grand Opening Includes $2 Sandwiches & Free Barbecue for a Year Giveaways
August 20, 2015 // Franchising.com // DILLON, Colo. - Franchise owner John Thomson opens Dickey's Barbecue Pit, the nation's largest barbecue chain, with a three-day grand opening celebration beginning Thursday, August 20 in Dillon. The barbecue bash includes barbecue deals, merchandise giveaways and three chances for a lucky guest to win free barbecue for a year.

The three-day grand opening includes:
- Thursday, August 20 kicks off with the first 50 guests receiving gift cards worth up to $50.
- Friday, August 21, guests can grab Dickey's Barbecue goodies with all day merchandise giveaways.
- Saturday August 22, radio station 101.7 KSKE will be on-site from noon to 2 p.m. and the new store will serve barbecue specials including $2 pulled pork sandwiches. One lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year.
John Thomson's passion for Dickey's Barbecue Pit has made him a successful owner/operator for the Texas-style barbecue chain.
