DENVER, COLORADO (PRWEB) August 20, 2015 - As part of its commitment to hands on support, Maui Wowi Hawaiian, an international franchise retailer of Hawaiian coffees and smoothies, recently held back to back meetings with its Franchise Advisory Council and Directors of Regional Support at the company headquarters in Denver, also known as the “Mainland.” The two groups meet twice a year with company executives to talk through current initiatives, come up with solutions, and outline future goals.
The first week was spent with the Franchise Advisory Council (FAC), which is made up of six franchisees, as well as a Director of Regional Support (DRS), who act as regional representatives and the voice of the franchise system. They met with Chief Executive Officer, Mike Weinberger, and other company leaders to discuss a variety of topics.
“We had two days of very productive meetings with the Mainland,” said Marci Mathis, franchisee and member of the FAC for the Northeast region. “It was an ambitious agenda but we were able to gather a lot of information and updates from each other and, with much discussion and conversation, came to a consensus on several important items and initiatives that will help increase franchisee support.”
Following the FAC meeting, the Directors of Regional Support got their chance to meet with the team and discuss ways to expand the brand by increasing opportunities for existing franchisees, while recruiting qualified entrepreneurs to join the Maui Wowi ‘ohana (family).
For both the FAC and DRS, one of the main focal points of the trip was a visit to the recently opened company store and training center located in the Lowry neighborhood. Launched as an outlet for testing new products and systems, it also serves as a hands on training center for new and existing franchisees.
“The training store is just one element of many that we are excited to offer our ‘ohana,” said Weinberger. “But it’s truly what lies underneath these elements that pushes us forward. The thousands of events and decades of experience that our FAC and Directors of Regional Support bring to the table, has been essential in steering our system to success.”
Over the past year, the company has continued its focus on support by providing new tools and programs designed to help franchise owners leverage opportunities and increase their level of success.
