Wienerschnitzel Goes Mobile With New Rewards Program

App Allows Wiener Lovers to Pay Using Mobile Device and Redeem Points for Free Food

August 25, 2015 // Franchising.com // IRVINE, California – Wienerschnitzel, home of America’s favorite Chili Dogs, launched a loyalty-based mobile app to reward guests for dining with Wienerschnitzel. The Wiener Rewards mobile app is now available for download with both iPhone and Android operating systems, and rewards members on a point system towards earning free food.

The easy-to-use Wiener Rewards app is designed to reward loyal fans and, with mobile payment functionality, provides convenience and accessibility for the on-the-go guest. App users automatically earn ten free points just for signing up, and will continue to earn one point for every dollar spent with each purchase. Once a member has reached a total of 40 points, they will receive a free combo meal, choosing from six fan-favorite combo options. To earn loyalty points, guests simply check-in on the app at any Wienerschnitzel location and show the cashier their three-digit code. All Wiener Rewards Members will also receive a free Old Fashioned Sundae or Corn Dog on their birthday.

“Although there’s nothing quite like a world-famous Wienerschnitzel chili dog, we understand there are many dining options available, so we want to reward our guests for choosing us,” said Doug Koegeboehn, Chief Marketing Officer. “We’ve got some very exciting new menu items in the works that we know our fans are going to love, and as members, they’ll get to enjoy the many perks of our rewards program too.”

The new Wiener Rewards Mobile App includes many features beyond loyalty benefits, such as location-based technology that provides directions to the nearest Wienerschnitzel and a reloadable mobile payment option. The app also connects directly to Wienerschnitzel’s latest videos and allows users to view real-time #Wienerschnitzel social media content.
