Lifelong Health in Lakeside: Fitness Boot Camp Announces Senior Training Accreditation

Lesa Gutenkunst announces Lakeside Fitness - Fit Body Boot Camp’s accreditation with the Functional Aging Institute. She plans to put her accreditation into action with a series of strength and mobility classes for active adults.

LAKESIDE, WIS. (PRWEB) September 22, 2015 - Lesa Gutenkunst, owner and founder of Lakeside Fitness - Fit Body Boot Camp, is proud to announce that her facility has been accredited by the Functional Aging Institute (FAI). Starting in October 2015, Gutenkunst will offer non-impact strength and mobility classes to active adults ages 60 and older at her facility, 675 Industrial Court, Hartland, Wis. 53029.

Fit Body Boot Camp is the world’s fastest growing and most popular indoor boot camp franchise with hundreds of locations worldwide. The unique fitness brand combines individualized training from certified personal trainers, specially created Afterburn workouts, and personalized nutritional guidance to help clients lose weight, gain muscle, and burn excess body fat.

“I am excited to help Aging Adults in the Lake Country area achieve the best possible health and quality of life through innovative and evidence-based functional fitness programs that are safe, effective, enjoyable and purposeful!” said Gutenkunst.

Her sessions will begin on October 5, 2015, occurring every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:30 am and lasting one hour each. Prospective members will need to complete a 30-minute initial client evaluation before starting classes. Each session will have a maximum of 8 participants. All fitness levels are welcome, but some may require a physician’s release.

“I believe If you move better you will feel better,” she added, “If you feel better you will move more. If you move more you will look better.”

Gutenkunst focuses on cutting-edge strength and conditioning techniques, designs every workout, and provides the personal attention, motivation, support and accountability that helps her clients achieve optimal performance and health.

“My inspiration to become a fitness professional came in 2000 when my daughter was diagnosed with pinobalstoma, a very rare brain tumor, and 6 months after that my father was diagnosed esophageal cancer. After losing both, I truly realized more than ever the value of life and the value of people.”
