Sky Zone Charlotte To Host “Week Of Wow” To Benefit #solemates

World’s First Trampoline Park Collects Sneakers For Schoolchildren

September 25, 2015 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sky Zone Charlotte is teaming up with #SoleMates to bring new sneakers to deserving children in the greater Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. As children begin heading back to school this fall, Sky Zone Charlotte is carrying out their mission of doing good by giving back to the young students in the community.

From September 28th to October 2nd, Sky Zone Charlotte will be hosting a “Week of WOW” at their park. Every guest who brings in a new pair of sneakers will receive a free 60-minute add-on jump pass for even more high-flying fun. Collected sneakers will be donated to #SoleMates, a program that educates young students on a multitude of topics ranging from self-esteem and healthy eating to bullying and poverty. This program is a valuable resource for the local youth to receive proper guidance and education from positive role models as well as be an invaluable outlet for kids to be kids. Each student that participates in this eight week program will receive a complimentary pair of shoes to help them stay on track for their future. Guests can soar to new heights atop a connecting court of trampolines while supporting a worthy cause. In addition, Sky Zone Charlotte will be holding a fundraiser on October 2nd to donate 20 percent of all jump sales for the day to #SoleMates to continue to help shape the lives of local school children.

“Poverty and bullying are serious issues in Charlotte and with many of our local kids lacking the proper resources and guidance, it is easy for them to fall prey to negative influences,” said Brian Spick, owner of Sky Zone Charlotte. “Sky Zone Charlotte is proud to partner with #SoleMates to bring this issue to light and raise funds to provide young children with the resources they need to succeed.”
