Captain D’s Seeks Franchise Candidates in North Carolina to Open Restaurants

Fast Casual Brand Plans Expansion in Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro and Raleigh-Durham

The company currently has 28 Captain D’s restaurants located throughout the state with the most recent restaurant opening in Franklin on Sept 28.

This announcement comes on the heels of unprecedented growth for the brand in 2014 and continued success thus far in 2015. Captain D’s closed 2014 by reporting a 4.1 percent system-wide same-store sales increase, marking the company’s fourth consecutive year of same-store sales growth. The company has maintained this momentum through 2015, achieving 4.94 percent in Q1 and 5.2 percent in Q2 same-store-sales growth, with the second quarter representing its 15th consecutive quarter of positive growth. Captain D’s attributes the company’s success to its ongoing menu innovation and new restaurant design, which exudes a vibrant coastal atmosphere and enhances the Captain D’s experience.

  • Winston-Salem – Thursday, October 22 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Doubletree location at 5790 University Pkwy.
  • Raleigh-Durham – Friday, October 23 from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Embassy Suites located at 8001 Arco Corporate Dr.
