October 21, 2015 // Franchising.com // Eugene, OR - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Eugene on October 14. Franchise owner Jim McGaha held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, October 14 to Sunday, October 18 to support Sheldon High School & North Eugene High School.
The new restaurant, located at 3003 North Delta Highway, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to either Sheldon High School or North Eugene High School.
“We are excited to announce the October 14th grand opening of our first Eugene store located in the North Delta Center next to Starbucks,” said McGaha. “During this grand opening period, we hope to rally the Eugene community to come out and help us raise money for both Sheldon High School and North Eugene High School. We have distributed 10,000 donation cards to the local community that will entitle the holder to a free sandwich in exchange for a donation to the school of their choice. Every dollar raised through this promotion will be given to the high schools and Jersey Mike’s will contribute an additional $500 to the school that raises the most money.”
