Operating partner Matt Forbes held a grand opening free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, October 28 to Wednesday, November 4 to support Dolphin Bay Elementary School, Coconut Palm Elementary School, Everglades High School, Glades Middle School and Silver Shores Elementary School.
The new restaurant, located at Fountains of Miramar on 2945 S.W. 160th Ave., circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Broward County Public Schools.
“This will be my tenth year with Jersey Mike’s and my second store as the operating partner,” said Forbes. “This store is an awesome opportunity since the brand is moving more south into Broward County and it will be a new challenge to introduce our great subs to this community. Miramar is a tight knit community so it was very natural for us to partner with the Broward County Public Schools for our grand opening fundraiser. We are going to be able to create lasting partnerships with these schools and hopefully make a difference in the process.”
