November 10, 2015 // Franchising.com // Copperas Cove, TX - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Copperas Cove on November 4. Franchise owners Jim Mellon, Scott Irvine and Ed McCaffrey, along with operating partner Bobby Campbell, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, November 4 to Sunday, November 8 to support the Fisher House Foundation.
The new restaurant, located at 3018 US Highway 190, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to the Fisher House Foundation.
“We are proud to bring Jersey Mike’s Subs to Copperas Cove” said Campbell. “Having one store a year ago and now opening our fourth location is absolutely a blessing for us and our community. We have been able to give back to several local charitable organizations and with another location on the map we’ll be able to do more. For our Copperas Cove location Fisher House Foundation will be our charitable recipient for the grand opening. Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. Being neighbors to Fort Hood Military Base we really wanted to do our part in supporting our troops.”
