Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop Launches Its Third Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Award-Winning Franchise Partners With The Las Vegas Rescue Mission To Assist Local Families

November 11, 2015 // Franchising.com // LAS VEGAS – Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is partnering with the Las Vegas Rescue Mission to collect non-perishable food donations at all Las Vegas Capriotti’s locations to provide a Thanksgiving meal to those in need. From November 2 through November 22, guests can drop off donations in specially marked bins at any Las Vegas Capriotti’s locations. Guests who donate five or more items will receive a complimentary small to medium sandwich upsize.

Last year, Capriotti’s collected more than 3,000 pounds of non-perishable food in support of the Las Vegas Mission, an organization who is dedicated to helping local families in need. As a result, the organization was able to distribute thousands of Thanksgiving food baskets in the community. This year, Capriotti’s is continuing its support of the Mission by collecting dry, canned and other non-perishable food items to feed even more Las Vegas locals in need during the Thanksgiving season. The Capriotti’s Support Center staff is also volunteering at the Mission to serve meals on November 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to give back and help during the organization’s busiest time of the year.

“It is very important for us to give back to the Las Vegas community, and we want to inspire our guests to do as well through our partnership with the Las Vegas Rescue Mission,” said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “There are many families in need that deserve to have a hot, delicious Thanksgiving meal, and we hope that our partnership will ensure everyone in Las Vegas has a memorable holiday.”
