Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Seventh Los Angeles Location

Owner Celebrates With Fundraiser

November 17, 2015 // Franchising.com // Los Angeles, CA - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Los Angeles on November 11. Franchise owner Juancarlos Chacon, held a grand opening and fundraiser from Wednesday, November 11 to Sunday, November 22 to support five local schools and one non-profit.

The new restaurant, located at 5453 Hollywood Blvd., circulated thousands of flyers throughout the community each containing various offers. For each offer redeemed, Jersey Mike’s will make a $2 donation to the participating charities from November 11 to November 22 as part of a twelve day grand opening celebration.

“I was initially attracted to Jersey Mike’s because of the quality of the product and the people in the company,” said Chacon. Prior to becoming a Jersey Mike’s franchisee, Chacon worked in the restaurant business for 15 years and was an owner for 6 of those years. “For this grand opening, we have partnered up with five local schools and one non-profit. We want to help create more after school programs for the students in our community. After school programs keep kids safe, promotes physical activities, inspire learning and help working families. We look forward to seeing everyone there!”
