For 2015, Tint World® opened 10 new franchise locations and received four nationally recognized awards. In addition, Tint World® finalized seven new vendor partnerships, including Rhino-Rack USA and HornBlasters.
“Our continued growth both in terms of new franchisees and vendor relationships made this a great year for Tint World®,” said Charles J. Bonfiglio, CEO of Tint World®. “We were able to accomplish a lot as a franchise, but some of our most successful actions have been what we’ve done behind the scenes to prepare for 2016.”
Tint World® will be launching an industry first e-commerce platform in Q1 of 2016, which will allow Tint World® customers to purchase products online and have them shipped directly to their nearest Tint World® location for prompt installation. The platform launch will additionally benefit franchisees as well with a corresponding store intranet integration.
“With the launch of our streamlined e-commerce platform, our franchisees will also have their point of sale, accounting and marketing efforts integrated and connected into one single intranet system,” said Bonfiglio. “Instead of separate stores running separate systems with separate accounting, our franchisees will now be able to function in an ecosystem that makes it easy for all aspects of their business to funnel directly into corporate. This means franchisees will have everything at their fingertips – from weekly KPIs and sales benchmarks to monthly P&Ls and online vs. in-store sales figures – all in real time.”
In addition to the system upgrades for their franchisees, Tint World® will also be introducing a new vendor system and opening 10 new locations by the end of March.
“Quarter one of 2016 will be the biggest quarter we’ve ever had in terms of store openings,” said Bonfiglio. “Historically we’ve opened 8-12 stores a year, but with 10 stores opening in Q1 and 25 more stores that are securing locations and set for training right behind them to open this year, we’re on track to have upwards of 35 new stores opening in 2016. And that does not include potential mergers and acquisitions under review. 2016 is going to be a big year for us.”
