Big Whiskey's Appoints New VP of Marketing
March 15, 2016 // Franchising.com // -- Big Whiskey's Concepts Inc. has recently appointed Dan Allen as its new Vice President of Marketing & Franchising. In the newly created position, Allen will be tasked with franchising the Big Whiskey's concept in North America, creating the marketing strategies for franchisees as well as developing & executing a new advertising program for the 5 corporate stores in Southwest Missouri.
Paul Sundy, COO, said Allen's respected experience will help the company Implement its growth initiatives. "Dan's years of franchising and marketing on a global level is just what we needed at this stage in our expansion. We're confident his expertise and skills will move us forward rapidly."
Allen owns GMS.Group Inc., an event & marketing firm, founded 17 years ago with such clients as Domino's Pizza, Photo Entertainment, KFC, Fifth Quarter Steak Houses, Pepsico & Levi Strauss. GMS has also produced such events as Elton John & Bon Jovi concerts in New Zealand, Bikes Blues & BBQ Rally, G-Taranaki Music Festival and the America's Cup.

Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar currently operates 3 restaurants in Springfield MO and one each in Ozark & Branson MO. The company began franchising in late 2015.
