City Wide Maintenance Celebrates ‘New Beginnings' at Annual Franchise Convention
Franchise Partners, Local Market Team Members and Home Office Leadership Come Together for 13th Annual Franchise Convention and Awards Ceremony
March 29, 2016 // Franchising.com // LENEXA, Kan. – City Wide Maintenance, the nation’s leading building maintenance management company, hosted its 13th annual franchise convention and awards ceremony at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida from Sunday, February 28th through Wednesday, March 2nd.
Themed “New Beginnings,” the convention celebrated several key accomplishments and inspired all attendees – franchise partners, local market team members, and corporate leadership – to kick-off the year with new ideas, new energy, and a renewed sense of passion and purpose. Attendees participated in extensive educational seminars and business enhancement programs, and were particularly motivated by the keynote speech given by Dayton Moore, general manager for the World Champion Kansas City Royals.

The highlight of the annual convention is the awards ceremony. City Wide Franchise handed top performing City Wide franchise partners and their team members in attendance honors for their sales, customer retention, and superior operations during 2015.
During the awards dinner, Oddo presented the highest honor, the “Platinum Market” designation, to nine City Wide locations. The honorees included Boston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Metro Atlanta, Phoenix, Portland, South Carolina, Tampa Bay and Washington. To earn the recognition, franchise partners needed to achieve a series of high marks in all criteria judged, including total revenue, revenue increase, operations, retention, community involvement, and participation within the franchise system. The award winners will receive a special visit from Jeff Oddo and/or the COO, Darin Hicks, who will take the team out for a “Platinum Market” celebration.
City Wide also presented awards to 11 franchise locations for achieving revenue retention rates of 90 percent or higher in 2015 including Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Illinois, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Nashville, Portland, South Carolina and Washington. Plus, City Wide had nine locations qualify for its “2015 Chairman’s Club” for achieving excellence in sales and operations. As members of the 2015 Chairman’s Club, Boston, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Metro Atlanta, Nashville, South Carolina, Tampa Bay and Washington earned all-expense paid trips to Cabo San Lucas in April.
